The Forum takes place at IFELOR, the exhibition centre of Lorca. The parallel panels, the EEN brokerage event and the Start Up Area are all part of the programme on Tuesday 20 October.

Lorca sits in the Alto Guadalentín, 58 km south-west of the city of Murcia and under an hour from its international airport.
Three international airports serve the area and connect with the main European hubs.
The Murcia–Águilas railway is closed for works, so Renfe runs a replacement bus service.
The A-7 motorway links Lorca with Murcia, Alicante and Almería.

The 2011 earthquake reshaped risk management and urban planning across the Region of Murcia, and made Lorca a working case study in reconstruction. It is also a city worth a walk.

The draft programme has been prepared in English, with speakers from European institutions, Spain and Ukraine. The final language arrangements will be confirmed with the programme.

Lorca is known as the “City of the Sun”, with more than 300 days of sun a year. October is usually mild, with warm afternoons and cooler evenings — a light jacket is enough for the guided visit.
